The Lucky Cat, progress post 1 (lines and blocking in shapes)
I’ve gotten a couple (very nice :D) questions regarding my process for my digital illustrations, so I thought I’d make a painting with the intent of showing the process. I’m using the lasso tool and shift key for a lot of this early stuff.
For the past couple months I’ve been working on a short side-comic for Spera, a series of collaborative adventure comics. The comic was a collaboration between writer Josh Tierney and myself, and I had a blast making it!
I really recommend you go read the original online Spera comic (and these online shorts) and maybe pick up volume 1 (and look out for volume 2 in February!)

I did an alt cover for issue #2 of the upcoming Fionna and Cake Comic mini-series, which will be drawn by tumblr hero and AT storyboard artist NATASHA ALLEGRI! I had fun drawing gender-swapped candy people (and Tree Trunks!), and drawing lots of Cakes as “practice”. I’m so happy to be able to finally share it with you all and I hope you will pick up the first issue when it comes out next year.
